Gurudwara Shah Sahib in Panipat

Gurudwara Shah Sahib is one of the renowned Gurudwaras of Panipat. This place is also called as Guru Ka Ghar which seeks blessings from Guru Ramdas ji, the fourth Guru of Sikhs. This Gurudwara of Shah Sahib was incepted with a vision to spread spiritual intelligence, teachings of gurus, brotherhood among the people, and peace of mind. The Gurudwara Shah Sahib is mentored and guided by spiritual Guru, Sri Gurvinder Shah Singh Ji, well known as Shahji.

There is long story behind the formation of Gurudwara Shah Sahibji. Bhai Soma come to Amritsar for living and used to sell boiled gram outside the sarovar. He was well managed to spend life quite comfortably with his earnings while rest of the time he used for services to devotees coming to this place. One day Guru Ramdas ji asked Bhai Soma ji to give all his earning for laborers.

This phase continued for 5 days and on 6th day when Bhai Soma was about to give his earning, Guru Ramdas ji said he is not taking anything from him now onwards. He blessed him and given new name of Soma Shah. From that blessing Soma Shah got engaged in the seva of Guruji.
